We use Little Wandle to teach daily phonics at St George's.  We send home a home learning sheet each week to support the children with their learning.  Each sheet shows the phonemes we are focusing on and includes tricky words and sentences to practise reading.

Below you will find the lists of tricky words that the children are required to read and spell. These words are 'tricky' because they can not be read phonetically. Please encourage your child to read these regularly, there is also a copy of these in their reading record diary. You will also find these on your child's Spelling Shed account.
