Practising writing tricky words in EYFS
We are loving our Fridays in the forest! We are learning lots of new skills and enjoying working together cooperatively as a team.
We had a fantastic time with Being Outdoors at Shield Tree Forest.
We tried mini beast hunts, put the mud kitchen through its paces and even toasted our own marshmallows around a real campfire!
We love a good story in Early Years and from the beginning we invest time in developing children’s love of books. We use a Talk4Writing approach to really get to know each text in a fun and interactive way.
We’re cutting out plastic.
We are proud to announce that we now use glass milk bottles in Nursery, Reception, breakfast club and even the staff room!

We celebrated National Poetry Day!
We are passionate about poetry in Nursery and Reception! Every day our budding poets enjoy performing poetry from the Poetry Basket. Have a look at our star performers reciting Pointy Hat on National Poetry Day which we celebrated on the 7th October.
