We offer a broad and balanced curriculum for 3 to 11 year olds and it is our intention that every child realilses his or her potential.  We commit ourselves to finding ways for each and every one to experience success within a Christian setting.  The school has close links with St. George's Parish Church and the wider community. It has a thriving P. Budding chefs at St George's CE Primary school in New Mills will be able to cook up a storm after winning one of 10 major Regional Prizes in the annual Kenwood Cook  for Life Competition linked to British Food Fortnight. The school  had to design  a menu using British seasonal ingredients which incorporated at least 2 portions towards their 5 - a - day of fruit and vegetables. The recipes were cooked by children at  the school's Cooking Club.
